Meet Dr. Z
Dr. Zack Scheurich earned his DVM from Louisiana State University in 2007. Since then, he has practiced conventional veterinary medicine on small, exotic, and pet farm animals in Washington State. While there, Dr. Z also volunteered with Covenant Creatures, providing free veterinary care to the pets of impoverished people, and participated in free mobile clinics with Rural Area Veterinary Services and Native American Veterinary Services.
Satisfying an increasing interest in holistic medicine, in 2011, Dr. Zack trained in Animal Acupuncture with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Dr. Z has continued to expand his learning, traveling across the country and studying with a range of veterinary herbalists and acupuncturists.
Dr. Zack Scheurich is a member of IVAS, VBMA, AHVMA, and United Plant Savers.Â

Dr. Z spends much time in nature, learning from the plants and observing animals instinctual ability to treat themselves with appropriate plant medicine.
