Doctor Z received his DVM degree from Louisiana State University in 2007. Since then he has been practicing conventional veterinary medicine on small, exotic, and pet farm animals in Washington state. While in Washington, Doctor Z also volunteered with Covenant Creatures providing free veterinary care to the pets of impoverished persons, as well as participating in free mobile clinics with Rural Area Veterinary Services and Native American Veterinary Services.

 

Satisfying an increasing interest in holistic medicine, in 2011, Dr. Zack trained in Animal Acupuncture with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Dr. Z has continued to expand his learning travelling all over the country studying with an array of veterinary herbalists and acupuncturists.

 

Dr. Scheurich is a member of IVAS, VBMA, AHVMA, and United Plant Savers. 

 

Dr. Z spends much time in nature, learning from the plants and observing animals instinctual ability to treat themselves with appropriate plant medicine.
